Welcome To The Podcast For Aspiring Yoga Teachers
Welcome, I’m Tabby Johnston.
Yoga teacher trainer, mum, and enthusiastic veg-patch dweller.
When people start wondering whether they might want to teach yoga, I hear the same questions again and again:
“What if I’m not flexible enough?”
“What if no one takes me seriously?”
“What’s it actually like to teach yoga in real life?”
But underneath those questions, there’s often something deeper - especially for mums, and for those of us who don’t fit neatly into the way learning or work is supposed to look.
This podcast exists because so many women aren’t supported to build lives that genuinely work for them. Because motherhood isn’t designed to be easy. Because learning isn’t designed with neurodiverse brains in mind. And because sometimes you have to build your own village and your own version of success.
In this podcast, I speak to yoga teachers about what teaching is really like, how they’ve found their own path, and how they’ve shaped a life and schedule that fits their values, energy, and family, not someone else’s idea of what it should look like.
My hope is that it makes you feel less alone, gives you clarity, answers the questions you didn’t know who else to ask… and maybe even makes you laugh along the way.
With warmth and love,
Tabby
